    As part of this continued growth we are looking for a quality-focussed SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST to join the team, to support clients’ right across the UK.

    Your role

    This role will lead the analysis and design of software applications within a small but experienced R&D team in the UK. The role may also require you to work within the wider parts of the Group, including working with our client’s offshore team in India. It will play a key role in aiding the transition of the team to an Agile development methodology. Additionally, it will be pivotal in defining re-usable solutions for customer projects and best practice for their deployments

    The incumbent will elicit and analyse the detailed business requirements, business rules and constraints of customers, prospects and business partners. Effectively this is to act as the translation bridge between the product owner’s business “ask” and the R&D team.

    Person Specification

    Experience
    Essential
    • A minimum of 3 years in a Business or Systems Analyst role
    • A minimum of 1 years’ experience of agile/ SCRUM methods
    • Demonstrable experience /understanding of ERP/ FMS software (notably one or more of Advanced OpenAccounts, Sage X3, Sage 200, , Infor SunSystems, Unit4 Agresso, MS Dynamics GP, MS Dynamics Ax & NAV)
    • Demonstrable experience of working closely with customers

    Desirable
    • Experience of behaviour driven development
    • Use of design and modelling tools
    • Experience in any of the eDM, ECM, data capture, OCR, invoice processing or knowledge management domains
    • Experience of HCM (Human Capital Management) product set
    • Experience of creating customer centric solutions using modular software components

    Your role will be:

    • To provide leadership of the administration, care, and people management functions of The Home, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance.
    • To carry out, and provide leadership in marketing The Home, and selling its services at the agreed prices.
    • To maintain the operations of the service at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider, within the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider.
    • To maintain care and management skills at the current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice.
    • To manage the services within The Home in accordance with standards agreed with the Person Registered, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practices.
    • Assist the implementation and maintenance of the standards required by legislation related to the registration of the home.
    • Act within the home’s budget based on the home’s objectives and within the projected revenue.
    • Work in a cost-effective manner.
    • Be involved in the design and implementation and maintenance of the
    home’s quality assurance programme.
    • Assist in the design and administration of an evaluation of the care standards and care service provision. Systematically solve day to day problematical issues which arise.

    Working hours:

    Qualifications required:
    Managers are required by the regulations to have the 'necessary qualifications, skills and experience' to carry out the regulated activity. Skills for care advise that the current, relevant qualification is the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services, choosing the pathway:

    • Management of Adult Services or
    • Management of Adult Residential Services

    Managers taking the Level 5 Diploma should use the full breadth of QCF units available to ensure they achieve a qualification that is relevant to the role they are carrying out.
